You come to PokerSoftware.com because you want to learn about the latest and greatest tools that the industry has to offer. What’s happening with the Omaha add-on to Holdem Manager? Should I try out thepokerdb? If you know the name of the piece of software you want to learn more about, you can now take advantage of our Complete Software List on PokerSoftware.com. It’s located in the upper left corner of the site and has been introduced as a result of overwhelming feedback from our members. It’s just another way that we here at PokerSoftware.com are listening to what you, the user, have to say.
Let’s say that you were a Mac poker player wanting to hunt down a copy of Poker Copilot. Previously, you’d have to scan the top menu headers– Poker Sites, Tracking/Analysis, Odds Calculators, SNG Tools, Table Selection, Buddy Lists, AHK Scripts, and MTT Tools – hoping to find what you were looking for. Poker Copilot is a tracking and analysis tool for the industry’s Mac players. Now, all you have to do is head to the Complete Software List section of the homepage, click the dropdown menu, and head straight to the letter P. Click “Poker Copilot” and you’ll be whisked away to our review page faster than you can say “Hi, I’m a Mac.”
If navigating a dropdown menu isn’t your cup of tea, then we’ve implemented a second method of finding a piece of software. Let’s say you want to look for SNG Wizard, which has been one of the most popular programs given away in our Free Software promotion. There are a few ways to find SNG Wizard using our brand new, state-of-the-art “Search” box. First, you can type in “SNG” and any piece of software with “SNG” in the title will be returned. If you take a break from reading this article and try it out for yourself, you’ll see that Sit and Go End Game Tools (SNGEGT) and Stars Filtered SNG Opener also appear. You could alternately type in “SNG W” or “SNG Wiz;” either way, you’ll be reading about your desired program in no time. Just click on “Go to review” when you find the program you’re looking for.
If you absolutely hate dropdown menus and the thought of searching frightens you, then we have an even better option to find that needle in a haystack. On the list of text links that runs up and down the left side of the site, you’ll see a new one called “Complete Software List.” Click it and you’ll be taken to an alphabetical listing of software that includes the name of each program as well as a short description. These are not sorted by category (that’s what the top menu is for). Instead, clicking on any letter of the alphabet will bring you to a list of what we’ve reviewed. It’s so simple that a fifth grader can do it.
One new program that we’ve reviewed here on PokerSoftware.com that’s definitely worth a look is Omaha Manager, a fully functional add-on for Hold’em Manager. Support is available within the program for both Omaha High and Omaha High-Low and you can play the game concurrently with Texas Hold’em using two unique Heads-Up Displays (HUDs). Graphs will show all-in expected value, rakeback, and even showdown profits. Small-Stakes and Professional versions are available and you can earn a free copy of Hold’em Manager through our Free Software promotion.
Finally, we’d be amiss if we didn’t talk about a brand new change to our rakeback program that makes scoring a piece of software easier than ever. All you have to do is rake $500 on any single online poker site we work with – Absolute Poker, Cake Poker, Full Tilt Poker, NoiQ Poker, Players Only, Poker Nordica, and Ultimate Bet – and you’ll take home a license to any program found in our PokerSoftware Store. All you have to do is sign up for a poker rakeback through PokerSoftware.com, rake $500, and then e-mail me at dan@pokersoftware.com.
Thanks for being a reader of PokerSoftware.com. We’re happy to have you!
